Overcome The Barriers And Fulfill Your Dream To Become A Father

Male Infertility is a widespread condition today. The lifestyle and environmental factors of today has contributed largely to its increase. Male infertility has not as recognised as female infertility mainly because of the inclinations of our society and the stigma associated with it. Nevertheless, it is an altogether stressful disorder.

Characterised by the inability to impregnate after regular and unprotected intercourse of a year or beyond, male infertility can be caused due to a variety of factors. The symptoms of male infertility apart from the obvious sign of an absent fatherhood, are not usually recognised.

Common symptoms of male infertility include decreased body and facial hair growth, pain, lump or swelling in testicles, irregularities in ejection or ejaculation and sexual dysfunction. In some cases, inability to detect smells are also found.

Male infertility can be caused due to several factors as mentioned below.

Lifestyle change – the changes in life style such as food patterns, job nature, lack of physical activity, obesity and stress are known to have increased the incidence of male infertility, considerably.

Blockages – blockages in the tubes carrying sperm from the testes to penis or during ejaculation can lead to infertility problems.

Varicocele – varicocele is the major cause of infertility among men today. This is caused when the veins swell which causes a disruption in sperm movement, leading to infertility.

Abnormal sperm – unhealthy sperm which lacks mobility is a result of hormonal imbalance of chromosomal defect. This causes infertility as well.

Hormonal imbalance – lack of hormones or an excess can hamper production of sperm and hence decrease sperm count, leading to infertility.
