- If at all any kind of surgery needs to be performed, then small instruments are inserted into the uterus through the hysteroscope.
The entire procedure can be done with in a time frame from less than 5 minutes to more than an hour.
What to expect after the procedure?
After the procedure, the patient may have some cramping or slight vaginal bleeding for one to two days. Also may feel shoulder pain if gas was used during the procedure. However, if any of the following symptoms are experienced, contact the doctor:
